Product Description

 

The ColorChecker test chart contains six - level grayscale color patches, additive primary colors (red, green, blue), subtractive primary colors (yellow, magenta, cyan), as well as skin tones and true colors simulating natural objects. The target board has 24 solid - color patches, which are marked from 1 to 24 from left to right and then from top to bottom. So it is also called the 24 - color card. For the test of camera color and white balance, we use the ColorChecker test card to take pictures under different environments with corresponding white - balance modes for comparison. On one hand, we can observe how well the model restores various colors. On the other hand, we can observe the accuracy of their white balance.

Taking the colors of a chart as the standard colors, the degree of difference between the colors of the image captured by a camera and the original colors of the chart is called color restoration ability. The chart can provide a reference for truly restoring colors under any lighting conditions.

By using the standard Color Chart ColorChecker to take pictures under different environments with corresponding white - balance modes for comparison, on one hand, we can observe how well the camera model restores various colors. On the other hand, we can observe the accuracy of its white balance. There are six white - balance modes in total, namely auto white balance, daylight white balance, shade white balance, tungsten white balance, fluorescent white balance, and manual white balance. These can be used in digital cameras to create white balance, ensuring accurate and uniform neutral white under any lighting conditions.
